Waltham Forest – Wellbeing at Home
At times, living independently at home can feel challenging. This may be due to illness, reduced mobility, anxiety about going out, loneliness, or financial pressures. If you are finding it difficult to cope for any reason, support is available.
The Wellbeing at Home service offers practical help, advice, and support to enable people to remain safe, independent, and well at home.
In addition, our practice is proud to have a qualified and experienced Social Prescriber, who has extensive knowledge of local services, community support, and wellbeing resources. She can help with:
Emotional wellbeing and social isolation
Housing or financial concerns
Access to community groups and support services
Non-medical issues affecting health and wellbeing
If you would like to speak with our Social Prescriber, please contact the practice and ask to book an appointment. She will be happy to discuss your needs and help you access appropriate support.
