Getting your test results
This page explains how and when you can receive results for tests such as blood tests, urine samples, or scans.
All test results are checked by a doctor or nurse before they are released.
How we will contact you
If your results show that you need further tests or a change in treatment, we will contact you by phone or text message.
If you do not hear from us, please do not assume your results are normal.
For your safety, it is important that you check your results using one of the methods below.
Ways to check your results
Online (fastest and easiest)
You can view your results, along with any notes from your doctor, as soon as they are available by using the NHS App.
By phone
