BOWEL CANCER AWARENESS

Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, April 2025

Know the symptoms of bowel cancer: bleeding from your bottom; blood in your poo; a change in how often you poo, or regularly having diarrhoea or constipation; losing weight but you're not sure why; feeling very tired all the time but you're not sure why; a pain or lump in your tummy; if you have any of these symptoms, it's important to ask your GP for an at-home test as soon as you can.

This #BowelCancerAwarenessMonth, we’re supporting Bowel Cancer UK’s #PassItOn campaign by sharing the symptoms.

The earlier bowel cancer is spotted, the more treatable it’s likely to be.

Learn more about the possible symptoms of the disease.

Update from the GPsurgery.net team

Rosalind, Co-Founder and Director at GPsurgery.net, took over the team update this month:

We’ve been out and about over the last few weeks – in person and virtually – and it’s been good to meet up with so many different people.

Talking to GPs and practice managers always gives us valuable feedback, so when Medics Money invited Tim and Nick to talk to their GP community they jumped at the opportunity.

The focus of the talk was how good websites can make GP practices run better. With the doctors listening in sharply focused on business efficiency and profitability, Tim and Nick were able to offer plenty of tips on how to optimise sites to reduce admin burden. 🙌
