Vaccinations and Immunisations: Protecting You and Your Family
Vaccinations and immunisations protect children and adults from serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses. They are carefully tested, closely monitored, and recommended by national health experts to keep individuals and communities safe.
We understand that parents and carers may have questions or concerns about vaccinations. Our clinical team is happy to discuss the benefits, safety, and possible side effects so you can make an informed decision for your child.
If a child does not attend a scheduled immunisation appointment, we make several attempts to contact parents or carers to offer support and rebook. Where families are difficult to contact or appointments are repeatedly missed, we work with the Federation Immunisation Team to ensure appropriate follow-up and safeguarding support.
Reliable, up-to-date information about vaccinations is available from the NHS:

We encourage parents and carers to speak with our team if they would like further advice or reassurance.
